A Room of Your Own

Viva el business meeting! Or slightly raucous party. Or rehearsal dinner. Or family and friends get-together. Social, business, or random event – we have the room for you.

It’s cozy (seats six) and perfect for small meetings, sit-down dinners or a romantic evening for two. Originally the kitchen of a house built in 1860 by Irish immigrants, the Pink Room’s limestone and caliche walls, Saltillo tile floor and reclaimed wood ceiling speak of history and rustic grace. Simply and elegantly designed in the colonial style of San Miguel de Allende, Doña Maria’s birthplace. Beautiful decorative fireplace and music system with independent volume control.

Garret Mormando’s lush murals transform the room into La Selva… “the jungle.” The wood paneling is actually concrete, “faux bois” created by a local artisan who did much of the work still treasured at San Antonio’s Japanese Tea Garden and other spots around town. La Selva seats 10, has a hardwood floor and a music system with independent volume control.

This light, airy space features Chuck Ramirez’s Broom Series, which he saw as “metaphors for the human spirit; weathered, but enduring and always optimistic and colorful.” Godiva 2, one of Chuck’s well-known Candy Tray Series, rounds out the collection.

Seats 12, is adjacent to the bar, wifi and music system with independent volume control.

House. Party. Our beautifully-restored 1890 home accommodates big events. It’s the perfect large-scale venue for meetings, lectures, presentations, seminars, tastings, cocktail mixers and seated dinners. Why “Garden St. House”? That was the previous name of St. Mary’s Street.
